It was an obvious foul, just fortunate for wakey that the ref didn't see it.
Wello from his immediate and subsequent reaction obviously believed it was a foul and he is not known for lying / cheating.
If you look at "JD's" face while the replay was being shown, he does look rather sheepish/guilty and he does have form for that sort of thing. |

The rules are clear - the video ref can only adjudge on what he is asked to by the ref. Why do you think the ref tells him what to check? |

The video ref saw it at least 6 times and dissagreed with you. |
