Dont know if it's been mentioned on here but BBC Radio Leeds have said that Saints are close to announcing the signing of Luke Dorn.

Not heard that one, not seen him play for a while.

Not sure where he'd play, he was at fullback last time I saw him play but he also plays halfback.

Can't see it myself unless wello ain't getting a new deal or pryce is on his way to bulls.

As much as i would love to see Pryce back next season i really cant see it happening.

Dorn would be a good utility back to have for next season on the right money. He can play full back, half back and hooker if needs be and he's also great at support play.

Dorn would be a terrible signing for you guys. He's a reasonable full back and that's it.

You rely on him too much at Quins! He would be our Cameron Phelps e.g filling in when we have injuries to Eastmond, Pryce or Wellens. I know plenty of Quins fans who rate him as your best player. It's well known you also dislike him.

I'd be happy with the signing but it would mean Meli is moving on IMO.

Maybe dorn will be Fullback and the super fast wello moved to the wing

If he was on rubbish money he'd be good signing as a good cover player. He'd be scrumhalf most weeks.

Luke Dorn is one out of the blue.

I like him to be fair, he's always impressed me when he's played at full back.

I don't dislike him, I dislike the fact that people harp on about him being good enough to play at 6 for a Super League side. He isn't. He's been great filling in at full back this year, but offers little more.

Not 100% convinced about Dorn but having experienced cover for 1, 6, 7 is no bad thing at 28 he is younger than I thought too.

However I would rather we looked to use our existing youngsters to continue to fill in though, I wouldn't be keen on us signing someone aged 28 to be purely a fill in squad member and take up places that Lomax, Foster, Wheeler, Gaskell, Armstrong could be in instead.

It this is as a result of Meli going I would rather use the wages and go out and look at a winger who would be involved every week
