Great pics as ever. I look forward to these updates. It's good to see what's going on. Keep up the good work (just so long as you don't mind having the mick taken out of you every now and again!).

I am a Wire fan and must say I actually enjoy seeing the updated photos on here, keep u the good work. I do have a question though, have any artist impressions of the inside of your new stadium been released yet. In fact have anymore other than the one shot looking from the car park been released.

Thanks

Detailed technical drawings are available on the St.Helens council website at the following location

http://llpgport.oltps.sthelens.gov.uk:8 ... PKID=50095

scroll down and look for "level 00 general arrangement plan" "level01 general arrangement plan" etc
along with "elevations north and south" & "elevations east and west"

A little bit of an update for you, my Wife has been hassling the guys building the roundabout, and has been told that the actuall lights on top of the poles will go up either today or tomorrow then work will slow while they tidy up the site before restarting work in about a week or two finishing the roundabout , which incidentaly will have traffic lights on it to contrl getting out of Tesco`s presumably,, it seems like Morrisons are building the bridge and there were a few Land Rovers on the site near where the bridge will enter the site, and also on the other side of the link road so maybe something is happening there.

And SaintsFan if i minded that i wouldnt post on here at all :)

Re: Stadium Site pictures : Wed Jun 23, 2010 11:25 am
What does that mean to the Stadium Development?

I would imagine that the NWDA will be funding all the previous (demolition/remediation) contracts and the current on-going ones relating to the infrastructure. If the contract is signed then all well and good however if it isn’t signed then I would guess that the funding will be pulled. I know Morrsions have been mentioned as the contractor for the bridge but has that been signed yet? If not then that could get pulled and given the cuts they are to face the council won’t have the funds to plug the shortfall.

Are the NWDA part of the funding for the actual stadium build itself? I’d be surprised if that is the case as it’s not really their remit. They get involved to ensure the site is suitable for development eg roads etc.

I guess Saints are lucky to have them billionaires on the board. Plugging a funding gap to the tune of a few million will be chicken-feed to them.
