I don't think Leuluai will have that much of a role at hooker for you. If tomkins goes to fullback that leaves Deacon, Finch and Leuluai in the halves. I cant see deacon playing much next year, if at all. I don't know Deacon's current status but i've heard rumours he's going into coaching? I think you may need Leuluai in the halves?

They'l have Robert back in contention, though. He'll probably come into the back three and Sam with stay at 6. If Finch can take the general's responsibility at 7 it will free up tomkins to play that wider running position without a problem.

I agree, but they way Wigan have raved about Tomkins at fullback it suggests he will be going there. Whether Amos Roberts is fit or not?

If Amos Roberts if fully fit and remotely close to the form he was showing at the start of the season, he will be at FB. I think Goulding should have his wing position on merit and as such Roberts will be FB.

If we signed another hooker then maybe Sam would be at FB more often, but I see him going back to 6 next year.

So you are going with 2 fullbacks, but if you sign a hooker you'll play with 3 instead?

IMO Roberts and Goulidng have to fight it out for that wing spot, Tomkins showed too much class at FB to be moved elsewhere, especially considering he has played there only about 10-15 games.

Yup, maybe another Wigan thread!
Deacon is on a three year deal. One playing and two coaching.
He and the club are apparently discussing the possibility if him playing another year. Deacon wants it and Maguire wants it by all reports.

1 Tomkins
2 Goulding/Roberts
3 Gleeson
4 Carmont
5 Goulding/Roberts until Richards returns
6 Finch
7 Deacon.

With it being Carmonts last season under contract we expect to see Charnley, Marsh appearing at some point in the season.
Plenty pace there with the two younger lads being pretty quick as well.
