The constant sniping, biting and bitching is ultimately tedious. It is immature, irrelevant, and very little rugby actually gets discussed with out it turning into a "he pushed me first."
It's sad really, because after a quiet off season, we picked up, and rugby debate was going really well on here.

You're absolutely right with your assesment, both here and on southstander.com, and most of the usual suspects have shown their hand on this thread in an attempt to defend their actions.
Personally I just cannot understand what motivates someone to encourage others to hate them and then call it "banter", its not, its a mental illness
I like to compare it to you sitting in your favourite pub tap room with all your friends when a complete stranger walks in and sets about insulting each and every one of you - it just wouldn't happen in real life and yet to some its an enjoyable form of recreation when online.
You have to feel some pity for them really...
