I think the Justin Poore rumours have some legs. He's only 24, makes good yards and if my sums are right he would have been coached by Mr Potter for a couple of seasons whilst Harry was looking after the Dragons Premier League team.

Seems a player of some note

Heading the list are Brisbane duo Darren Lockyer and Karmichael Hunt, Manly pair Matt Orford and David Williams and St George Illawarra forward Justin Poore. All would be considered blue chip signings, but the challenge for any potential suitor would be fitting them under the salary cap.

I do seriously doubt he would come to blighty yet. He has shown he can play well in the redvee so i'd love for us to sign him but i just dont see it happening

Saints should look at persevering with youth and having 1 or 2 top class foreigners.

In an ideal world of course, but they might not make it.

According to the Bulls forum, Andy Lynch is OOC at the end of this season. If he is available and with Cayless leaving, he would be a fine replacement plus open a quota spot for us. I would hope we are interested.

Andy Lynch is just as injury prone as Cayless. No thanks.

Hes definitely had his problems but no more than Carvell and we went for him.

He'd be on a lower salary than Cayless I'd guess and he'd free up a spot. I would definitely have a go at signing him.

Thing is, as we know, over the coming years we'll be having to rely more and more on less foreigners which will probably mean we'll have to take more risks on them making it or not. That or try to splash the cash on other Superleague players.

SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row

He's good but with questionable defence. i'd prefer our kids to make the grade

Correct,
I've been saying on the Wigan board for ages that his defence is worse than Tim Smiths, but they think I'm just defending (excuse the pun) a Wigan player.

Just check Dobsons defensive and error stats.
