The four final loses prove we ain't to far off but maybe the signing of few strike players might have just been the difference.

Using kids is great and I fully back it as it's the only way to go in the current climate but you can't rely on a team of kids. The have to be top class players in there with them. IMO that's been a factor in losing the last 4 grand finals.

We only played a number of youngsters in the 2010 Grand Final. Our youngster in the 2009 Grand Final was the person who scored all the points! And our 2007 and 2008 Grand Finals were largely full of ancients. The factor in our Grand Finals is that we don't bloody turn up! Except in 2009 when we turned up but only Kyle knew how to attack.

I didn't mean we lost the finals due to playing kids, I mean we lacked strike players that can break the line, make breaks and get over the try line.

I was making the point to Simon that I don't think we are in the position to pay big transfer fees anymore.
