to all saints fans that have kids or are kids pryce is a role modle, probably one of the worst you could get in rugby league but is a role modle non the less. as a leeds fan i think it was a good thing bailey and chev did the time for the crime, debt paid! sends a great message to kids in what can only be described as f*cked up times. the message the judges in said cases of cockay n pryce and hull kr as a club have put out is frankly disturbing in what is a family game.
i recon saints will do nothing to pryce which is a real indicator of the moral line. pryce is too important to saints for them to punish by example.
i dont think all clubs would do the same as saints, some would defo get rid. but i do think the more successful ones would keep key players! which again speaks volumes about how messed up our society really is!!

Errm, slightly confused about all this. Let me see if I have got it right
1. Pryce has pleaded guilty to an offence of assault as a result, if the press are to be believed, of another party breaking into a premise and another person attacking, albeit in rightful defence Pryce who then unlawfully defended himself.
2. He pleaded gulity and accepted that what he did was wrong.
3. The judiciary have accepted that he knows he was wrong and have taken into consideration when sentencing his guilty plea.
4. The have given him a sentence that gives him maximum opportunity to repay the community for his deeds, hopefully in a positive way utilising the skills that he has.
5. The club has said that they will review what has happened and make a statement at a later date.
I am confused at why people are making a fuss about all this. Yes he is a role model, but I have not heard him sayng hat what he did was right or young rugby players should go out and get drunk before bursting into a house and pushing somebody over. He has apologised for what was a relatively minor offence.
Any possibility we can all do what Leon is doing now and get on with our lives?
