spoke to Matty after the game , he was on his way to Whiston Hospital to get it checked out.

Seemed a pretty innocuous kick charge and Smith had his ankle stood/stamped on by a wire player (Mitchell i think but i stand corrected).

Hopefully he is able to recover soon enough (8-10 weeks if it's a simple break) and get back to playing rugby.
