Well the Easter session is out of the way and I have to say that at this stage of the season you are the best side in the league.

You seem to have had a Trinity....... which is appropriate

1. The new coach seems to have slotted in well and IMHO has improved both your attacking style and the defence.

2. Discipline seems to have improved also.

3. A good crop of youngsters have stepped up and they look full of potential.

thanks for the compliments.things are looking good at the moment but i will only take this season as being a good one when we win at old trafford.we have been here before.

I agree with point 1 and 3, but can't agree with point 2. Our discipline was outstanding last year and it has as expected got a little worse this year. But you can't really complain too much as we're winning games.

I think defensively we've been excellent this season. A real positive for me. Our forwards are bigger this year, which means we're able to express ourselves in good areas of the field. Maurie, Clough and TP are huge and give us excellent go forward along with the machine that is James Graham. Gilmour seems to have slotted in well at Centre and the youngsters have come in and done very well.

It's a long, hard season so there will no doubt be a few downs along the way, but we look more like we did in 2006 with a bigger pack this year.

My perspective on point 2 is limited I havent seen all your games but relative to ours its miles better.

I think we have made a rod for our own back here and its pay back time ATM.

Back in the day you NEVER questioned the refs even if they were wrong....

Discipline never been an issue, hence we won a new bathroom suite and a few sinks last year...this year were about 5th or 6th in the fair play league I think... were just hungry, the old heads wont let the youth slip up, KC wants to win "the lot" and then retire a happy man and let Scott Moore come on down..... the kids are taught well, brought in at the right time and have been taught by world class players and coaches ... and since Pimbletts closed down, we seem more eager to make this town world famous.
