pub guides to newcastle.
Hey guys, for those who are planning a day out in newcastle or even better an overnight stay, here is a guide to our local pubs, and eateries.
haymarket area. more of a student scene, and yes Reacher, as you stated, this is where the pacific bar is. great bar! and you have the crows nest, and a few others which are more popular with the football crowd on the way to st james park.
the gate. everything indoors, from restaraunts, a massive casino, and about 8 pubs, with a lloyds weatherspoons, and players bars a must. its usually packed with stag and hen nights and is superb....
the bigg market... so many bars in one place, a party atmosphere, but is spoilt by fighting and under age drinking and drugs. you will enjoy it but keep ya wits bout ya!!!!
central station area... a very popular area of drinking, with the lodge and revolutions down there. and a bit of cheese in flares. oh and the long bar is good too full of women...
pink triangle...near the central station, gay bars for our same sexed friends, and powerhouse is your gay night club
quayside... brilliant but expensive. stacks of bars right on the river, and more classy than the other places. though if its a nice night its superb, with all of the bridges lit up too...
you will love every second of " the toon " and for all you single lads and lasses its mecca, paradise etc etc
