As it's about two weeks to the Saints v Wigan game I'm just letting you know that mini and myself will NOT be in attendance. The first derby game I've missed for years.

My future son in law has decided to have his stag night on Friday 31st July. It was supposed to be the next day.

At first I said I was going the game, but I'd already been given a pass out for the semi final on the 8th August when they are holding the "day after the wedding recovery party" I decided to not push my luck.

So can I be the first to say

COME ON WIGAN.

Poor effort

July 31st happens to be my lad's birthday but I've managed to postpone the party to the Sunday as I will be otherwise engaged.

What the hell happened to going out the night before the wedding, getting legless and then having to face the future mother-in-law the next day as you are growled at whilst waiting at the alter. Oh the good old days I remember them er well!

I would have chose the game, seriously. I cant do with people who do not consult the fixture list before organising these events !!

That is why my Stag is end of Oct post GF and marriage in November !!

Only exceptions from a Saints V Wigan game are :-

Death Certificate
Hospitalisation (hooked up to machines)
Note from mum.

If its a stag worth its salt it will just be getting going when the game is finished.

just another home game against a mid table team who are scrambling to get in the play offs. We haev bigger fish to fry, so would expect a few to be rested for this one.

I've got one of those as well.

But it does say
"You're going where"

However as my future son-in-law is 6'4" and 18 stone, I thought I'd better show him some "respect"
