i agree totally with this thread infact sometimes i cant be bothered to read some of the threads on here because some people are so stupid, mick potter is doing a fantastic job, wakefield was never going to be an easy win and to only loose by 2 points without any conversions was quite good in my opinion, am not down hearted one bit i would be if we had a full strength team out but with the injuries we had and the refs appauling display for both teams it was just one of those matchs i was quite happy to loose, tbh id rather loose a few more than go undefeated for so long like we did last year, was it 22 games or something then we got stung on the match that mattered
"To lose by only 2 points without any conversions" is quite bad not good in my opinion.
The point many people are making is that he should have had a half decent kicker in his 17, and the fact he didn't shows some dodgy judgement. Surely it was obvious that we would lose a tight game without someone who can put over reasonably easy conversions/penalties?
The critisism of St Potter relates to this match not his overall ability as a coach.
We should have won and would have done if he hadn't taken the risk of no kicker in the 17.
