Can anyone tell me if there are buses from St Helens Junction to the stadium ?

Yes. The 32 (it might be 32A?) picks up from the Junction at the bus stop there and you can get off it at the bus stop outside the stadium. They run about every half an hour but that might change later on in the evening.

More likely the 35/35A, The 32 runs closer to Lea Green station.

Depending on how many there of you there will be, a taxi may well be the cheaper alternative.

You can view all the timetables on the Mersey travel website. It may be easier travelling via Wigan North Western station to St Helens Central. I use this route when going to the HJ.

It's the 35/35A. My bad. Sorry! It's a while since I've caught it.

Here is the timetable (Arriva buses)

Just ask for Langtree Park as there is a bus stop outside the stadium itself. You don't go as far as the bus station.

Was looking to get the train however it's a replacement bus service :/ , is tesco's still a safe bet? Undecided on whether I should just drive and wait around in traffic after the game or risk the replacement bus service!..

You should be able to park on the Tesco Extra, the number plate recognition system has never worked since it was installed in 2010.

Future Wigan/Youngish player Wishlist - 1 - Jack Walker 2 - Nick Cotric 3 - TBC 4 - Oliver Gildart 5 - Joe Burgess 6 - George Williams 7 - Adam Reynolds 8 - Jordan McLean 9 - Jayden Brailey 10 - Jarrod Wallace 11 - Jack Williams 12 - Mike McMeekin 13 - Cameron Murray 14 - Christian Welch 15 - Danny Walker
