Visit //www.geofflee.net for details of my novels 'One Winter', 'One Spring', 'One Summer' 'One Autumn' 'Two Seasons'. and "Three Good Years" All six feature Rugby League against a humourous Lancashire/Yorkshire background and are inspired by the old saying about work: "They could write a book about this place. It would be a best seller."

Some writing advice for rugby league newcomers : Wed Dec 14, 2022 9:08 pm
Many newcomers to our game might not fully appreciate the fact that an enormous amount has been written about it and its great history. There has also been quite a few fictional novels too and I am a writer (and a former electrical draughtsman) who has written six novels that are all inspired by my love of Rugby League and the game's many characters . In my case this started in 1947 when I first stood in the boys' pen to watch the Saints. More about that are on my web site at geofflee.net
My wish to write a novel with a rugby league background was in 1988 and was inspired by the old saying about work that "They could write a book about this place. It would be a best seller" Details are found on the web site of London League Publications. Visit them at http://www.llpshop.co.uk. click on Books and then Fiction and read about my novels One Winter, One Autumn, Two Seasons and Three Good Years.
I have also written three pages of advice on how any sports fan can write a novel based on his or her own life. If you would like me to send them to you, E Mail me at wgeofflee@gmail.com and ask me to send you Geoff's RL Writing Advice.
