If we get a new stadium then great but cant see us ever getting one to be honest.
People say we need better toilet facilities, at end of day its somewhere to relieve urself from the watery beer, blokes standup, it doesnt have to have a nice smelly floor or goldtaps for me to pee when im desperate, if i need to pee behind a tree i dont pick the newest one i just do it.
Yes the stadium could do with being brought into the professional era but if it doesnt it doesnt wont stop me going and if people moan that they want a roof over their heads theyve got choice of going into main stand, if thye dont wanna sit down then stand at the back, noones forcing people to stand in pop stand its their choice, if u asked at the ground all the old people prefer it as it is for sentimental reasons its only the soft kids of today that are moaning about it.
If u dont like the stadium and want a new one go to the giants and stop moaning about our ground.

I for one would love the OSV to get the nod, but we all know that if were honest the council are going to say "love off Bulls".

At the end of the day you have to look at the cost for building a roof over the ground (we are talking 5-10 million with ease because of the sheer vast space there is at Odsal).

So do we build a roof or do we move out??

This question will be upon us one day and I get the feeling Peter Hood wants us away from Odsal

go to fans forum and ask peter then!. I'v already sent in question via email as i cant get there.

point is we we could build a roof in phases, we dont have to do the lot in one go, so it would be a lot more affordable than you make out. anyone remember in late seventies when there was a stand at coral end of pop side?.
build a manageable section, both size wise and cash flow wise, in off season then get increased crowds that season with new cover and use extra money to build next section following off season. rhinos ard man utd have used same principle to upgrade their stadiums.

Even if the OSV goes ahead as Hood as already said all the current concrete is going to need to be replaced , without huge upgrades i forsee it continuing to be a black hole sucking in money. If possible i'd like to see us move to a new purpose built stadium with city, but given the councils record on getting new things built it has next to zero chance of happening.

Exactly, If the funds can't be found to redevelope Odsal then what really are the chances of finding the funds/backing to build a new stadium anywhere else. The councils record at this sort of thing means it won't even get past the planning stage. We're better off taking the franchise and moving to a new city as they do in the NFL in America (I'm not for this idea by the way).

The problem behind this is the fact that our attendancies are falling year after year. If we had an average attendance each year of 20,000 then we wouldn't be talking about the subject of new stadia. The reason behind falling attendancies needs to be discovered in my opinion, then this will give us an idea for the future direction of the club and what action to take.

The fans forum should hopefully be an interesting one.

Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

Have talks ever taken place for both the Bulls and City to sellup and build a new, shared stadium?

Neither club has anything to sell, and City don't need a new stadium.

The problem I see is the long running Harris case, and the money that is being siphoned from the game, according to the press half a million has already gone to the lawyers, and it still rumbles on, and could put the club out of business if the outcome goes against us. Just think of the ground development that this legal sum would have had?
I presume the case has cost to much for both sides to withdraw, and supposed honour needs to be met. I also think if Bradford go out of business, Leeds will never be forgiven for damaging the game.
It is a tragedy that Bradford Council are absolutely clueless in sports development, and have they never heard of grants?

I think you are doing the council a disservice. The council are clueless in everything not just sports development

there is already a large amount of grants lined up to fund sports village. Problem is they only kick in if sports village goes ahead as a community facility. If we decide to go it alone and develop purely for bulls benefit we lose a lot of the grants.
