Don't know if this is worth it's own topic but it certainly made me chuckle.

I can't go this week without telling you a little story about two of our younger players; James Donaldson and Tom Burgess. They wanted to go swimming last week and decided to go to the International Pool in Leeds. They duly parked in the car park behind it at a cost of £5.00 but when they got there they found it had been closed........ for five years!!!

I've heard a few people make the same mistake.. Pretty sure it's less than 5 years since it shut mind.. 2 years tops but still.

I think it's probably because it's in the city centre and afiak there's no plans to make it anything else or knock it down yet.

Leeds Uni is currently building a super duper new pool. The council were going to contribute to that.
