I would have to agree with that one. Most over-rated album by the most over-rated band of all time.

Shut up!

It's an amazing album!

TBH, I have never really been a big fan of Live Albums. I will admit to liking Live Killers by Queen, Live in the City of Light by Simple Minds and If You Want Blood (Live) by AC/DC.

I used to like "The Who, Live at Leeds"but due to the location where it was recorded it has now dropped somewhat down the pecking order.

I agree. Seeing a band live is a great experience. Hearing it again off a recording never seems as good. Like the new pendulum live cd/dvd. Not a patch on seeing them.

I know this is going to sound outspoken, harsh, whatever but heres what I think.

Clearly its a massive shock, and musically speaking he's a tremendous loss to the industry, he's a legend really, like his music or not.

I don't however expect to log onto my facebook and see people saying "I love you" to Michael Jackson, and see people nearly crying like they've lost a parent. Fair enough, like I said its a big shock but I think people are getting a bit too over-emotional. And when you consider that a few years ago I bet a chunk of those people were calling him a paedophile or a monster etc.

Blind faith maybe.

At the end of the day this wasn't your average pop star, this was "the king of pop". Someone who has been a part of modern culture at least for my whole life.

At don't really care that he's dead but it is a massive shock and news. People really associate themselves to music and it's no suprise people are going over board.

Always thought music is much more than just something you listen too and enjoy.

P.s. Whilst in bad taste some of the jokes have made me laugh too. There's bloody loads of them though in less than 24 hours.

I don't think he's a big loss musically speaking. He hasn't produced anything of note in 20 years.

In relation to him being a paedophile, we'll never know because he used his considerable fortune to pay off witnesses and avoid justice. As other people have said, he could be Gary Glitter with more money and better lawyers, we'll never know.
