He's already had:

10 games into 2009, including another debacle cup exit to Catalans (although some overstepped the mark here by calling for his head after round 2 - ME)
And failed on all accounts.
Admittedly I can see improvement in the side now and given the timing we might as well wait until the end of the season/play-offs but in all seriousness if the club are seriously thinking of replacing Macca the sooner a new coach comes in the better so we can have contracts/recruitment and other settling in done well before next season. Leeds announced Smith's sacking well before the end of the season which allowed much in the way of continuity to take place so we could still get rid now and take our time to find a replacement with Macca still at the helm until the end of the season?
