I have added my comments to each of your points.
Looking at the squad at the moment there are far too many underachievers, plenty of which are McNamara signings. He has done little to suggest that he can re-shape the side in the post season significantly in order to improve the side, even taking away his own inability. Also, this was HIS team and the fact that he seems to be dismantling it pretty quickly suggests he got it horribly wrong in the first place.

I see lots of things to be concerned about at the moment but I also see
Among these are:
- a genuine pipeline in place for youth, Still a work in progress so cannot be faily lauded or criticised. Giving 4 minutes a game to some of these youngsters will hardly help much however
- a core of quality in our squad (irrespective of who is coaching them,)for every Steve Menzies there is a Ricky Sheriffe. And where exactly is the "core of quality?" We have an appalling back line and, if the rumours are to be believed, our biggest prospect in years wants out.
- an apparent clearout starting of some (albeit not all) of the players that we've all been criticising for the last couple of seasons,Fair enough. More to follow too I hope but it is who comes in that is more important to me
- the most promising looking Odsal project ever,Indeed. However I will save my praise for when the drawings stop and the building begins
- with every day that passes we are one day closer to the end of Michael Platt's bizarre 3 year extension. and Sykes', Godwins' etc.
