I thought last year most of the world was treated to photgraphic evidence of the preference of Oz players for their mates pets? Or was it just some biazzar pre-signing initiation ceremony for the Wolves?
I have not seen the photographic evidence for the Monaghan case, but it is surely another example of the strange Aussie/NRL morality. Other than a possible case of animal cruelty, why should such off-field issues determine whether a player is sacked or not? Unless criminal acts are being committed, what happens off the field should have no bearing on the game IMO.
