OT All time SL table : Tue Feb 06, 2024 7:49 pm  

Just seen this on TRL. Considering we haven't been in Superleague for a decade now and had 6 less seasons to amass points than some of the lesser clubs below us, it shows you just how good we were to still be 7th in the table. In fact, we'll still be in the top 8 even at the end of the season.

I know we've had some pretty awful years up until fairly recently however, I still wouldn't swap those glory years. Yes, the various financial mismanagement were a negative but there is still a lot more positive than negative in those years in SL. Food for thought when IMG are looking at some of those clubs on 20 odd seasons who have just taken the TV pay cheque and made up the numbers.

They were in SL from 96-03. Their final season in SL was a farce and is the worst single season record by any club in SL history. They only had 1 solitary win and managed to accumulate 2 points all year. Later in the season those 2 points were removed for a salary cap breach. History makers.
