Dave Hadfield of the Independent has the Bulls to finish second, which mirrors William Hill. Sportinglife.com predicts a third place finish. Most of the experts have Leeds and Saints in the top 3 with us. Looks like being a good season, I just hope we can be a real challenger, it has been a while since we imposed ourselves on teams.

Consistency, improved defence, luck, determination and ruthlessness will improve our chances.

Other than the three clubs I have mentioned I think Catalans and Wigan will continue to improve. I still think Celtic will finish last and I think Wakefield will struggle. Hull FC will be much improved on last year.

If you get, & keep, Bird I can't see why second should be beyond you. If Bird ends up doing bird, then fourth. Otherwise it's adios McBanana.

McBanana might be given the bird if we don't finish in top 5. No doubt the club parrots will have something to say about that, obviously losing Feather and Peacock has weakened us. If Deacon gets injured again seriously I reckon we may be in for Finch as his replacement who could work well with Bird, and possibly even perform better than Dave Heron during his stint with us, as long as he doesn't eat too much fried chicken like Slolomona or do as much foul play like Tez.
