Good to see him back, and covering as hooker is an interesting option. Plenty of go-forward but is his distribution up to the mark?

Jamie was a great strong running, ball handling loose forward when he signed for the Bulls, unfortunately he's been bulked up to be another Bradford Bulls battering ram. Jamie is a very skillful rugby league player, unfortunately your coach doesn't use these skills to your teams advantage and just has him on the pitch to tackle his heart out and drive the ball up.

What on earth is Newton playing for, he is clearly injured and we have players who could come into the squad to allow Deacon to go to 9, it's pathetic, the state of him last and then to write in the paper how he feels fit to play and that we are going to have something to smile at tomorrow night is laughable

Suppose we'll find out tomorrow. If he can play and is 90% fit then it may prove a good decision. But if he struggles through the game like he did at Wigan then it will be a very stupid decision by McNamara.

McNamara has obviously seen him train all week and feels he can play, so hopefully he has got it right.
