Precisely. The club need to be trying to get people to renew season tickets for next year, as those fans are likely to be the more loyal. Angering season ticket holders really wouldn't be a good idea.

As a season ticket holder it wouldn't particularly anger me if it was done to encourage people back. Maybe the club could do some sort of buy one ticket and get another free deal for the Catalan/Harlequins game. Or allow every season ticket holder to claim a voucher for free entry for an adult.. anything to try and boost numbers.

Whether this is financially viable I don't know, but our crowds are going to be dire for the next 3 home games. We need to try and sell some of the exciting young players like Donaldson to these fans so they at least consider giving the club another chance next season.
