Earwigging at the Acadamy game I heard Sam saying that both Nero and Lynch were very doubtful for Mondays game.

seems very strange that we havent recalled james or put crossley in 19 man squad if lynch is a serious doubt.

James would be a harsh one to recall, had we had a week and recalled him straight after a game then ok but a few days when Halifax have prepared around having them in their team its a very harsh thing to do.

agree entirely and glad we let fax keep him, but if lynch is serious doubt you'd have thought we'd have put crossley on squad. Looking at squad it suggests if lynch pulls out then burgess will go back into props and one of olbison/donaldson will get a go in 2nd row, which would be a shame as imo burgess is much more effective at lf/2nd row and clearly played better there on friday.

Could easily put Langley at prop, Menzies at second row and Burgess at Loose with Sykes going into half back and working the team around that.

no nero so menzies/sykes has to play one of the Centre spots with crookes taking the other. personally i'd stick with sykes at s/o and menzies at Centre as he played senior out of the game their on friday.

I suspect they'll rotate but at some stage we have to think about managing Menzies workload. Given our injury situation he has to play, but a game at centremight be a good compromise.

With respect Bradford's priorities should be about Bradford. If they need him I wouldn't be worrying about Halifax, he is our player and Halifax knew the deal when they took him out on loan.
