Everybody has a right to boo and it doesn't make you an idiot even if you do so choose to. People are expected to cheer good play and effort so there should be no eyebrows raised or foul looks passed when people choose to boo poor play and lack of effort.

Everybody does have. Same way as you might if you went to a rubbish concert or play or whatever.

Is it likely to improve the team's performance during a game though if you boo them while they are playing? I think that may be what the (maybe a bit strong) reference to "idiots" refers to? "Bobsmyuncle", in what I thought was a balanced and reasoned post on another thread, said "I did not Boo my club's players and did not leave before the end as IMO that would be counterproductive." Sounds reasonable to me.

Sorry. Poetic licence. Joking apart, credit to the true fans that turned up and stayed till then end. Must have been a bit of a sickner. Don't know of any consolation you can take from this game.

Who know's, it might? It depends what sort of character one may have. Personally I would take booing as criticism and dissaproval and if I was criticised either privatley or publically it would more than likley give me the incentive to improve myself. They way I see it is as I have explained previously good play will be cheered, poor play will be jeered. I'd like to make it clear though that booing from me personally does not come instantly to poor play though, but more as a build up of frustration at continued poor play. I think that's reasonable for any supporter in my eyes.

theres a similar thread on our board, as Hull also got loudly booed off this evening

whilst the scoreline may suggest we are overreacting, the standard of rugby was atrocious and i can't believe the sheep (admittedly very few) who were clapping the team off

Hull and Bradford are very similar at the moment, clueless coaches, no decent scrum half, slow and error prone, and a large part of the fanbase that has had enough of shelling out for dross.

i'm feeling really down about my club at the minute, so god knows how bad you lot feel!

Rubbish, the true fan is the one that deep in their heart always wants their club to do well. What you do at a game has no bearing whatsoever on whether you are a true fan or not.

exactly, the fact you've attended the game in the first place shows that you care IMO
