No he couldnt. His embarassing lack of pace means it takes him all day just to turn around. If he received the ball a meter from the line with the nearest defender 30 meters away, he would still get tackled.

Now, if you had said a 90 year old pensioner with one leg and arthritis could have scored all Gardner's tries, I wouldnt have had a problem with that.
