Peter Hood and Steve McNamara are set to be left scratching their heads by an audacious move by Warrington Wolves that will see academy prodigy Steve Wonder join the exodus of stars that has seen the likes of Jamie Peacock, Leon Pryce and Nathan McAvoy leave Bradford. The deal, which is rumoured to be in the region of £1.2 million over 2 seasons, will see scrum-half Wonder as the long-term replacement for outgoing Wolves star Lee Briers. It is understood that the move will signal a green light for Bradford to sign Australian Craig Wing, after previous failed attempts to poach Bird and Finch from Down Under. Bulls supremo Peter Hood commented: 'we are natually upset to see a player of the calibre of Wonder leave the club - although we are the most financially healthy club in world Rugby you cannot compete with the money Warrington were throwing at the lad'.

Bradford gave us Hockney, Leeds gave us Moyles.

Has this made it on to the Wire board's 'Burgess is coming... and the rest' thread yet?

The bulls must be blind to have not predicted this.

Ridiculous. I just can't see where the future is going now.

I was going to just call to say I love this club. But I'm not now.

I Never dreamed he'd leave in summer.

As we didnt know we can work it out, blame it on the sun, but dont you worry 'bout a thing.

So whats the fuss?

Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.

when two opposite points of view are expressed with equal intensity, the truth does not necessarily lie exactly halfway between them. It is possible for one side to be simply wrong.

I've heard a rumour that he had a meeting in a Bernie inn off the M62, involving his agent, his parents and certain Wire based coaching staff.

Personally I can't see a deal being struck in a bernie and I very much doubt the rumour is true.

- edit - sorry, caps lock problems!

They asked Stevie what it was like to play second fiddle to the worst scrum half in history of SL, he said "I ain't gonna stand for it".

I spoke to Stevie's dad in the pub last night and he told me there's a weird superstition at the club. it made him uptight and that he wanted to find a place in the sun. Steve was only ever a part time lover of the bulls anyway.

A fan bought Stevie a Cheese grater as a special leaving gift. Stevie said it was the most violent book he had ever read.

(Sorry if this is a bit too distatsteful!)
