Just reading an intresting rumour on the BBC board, and someone reckons the Bulls will unveil 3 international signings at the end of the season, quite a few players mentioned and some mentioned by more than 1 person...

Gareth Raynor - Hull / Been on here before.

Danny Brough - Wakefield / Really can't see this one.

Ryan Bailey - Leeds / Certainly hope not.

Lee Radford - Hull / I would take him back for a good price.

Ben Westwood - Warrington / Can see this one, although he is from Bradford.

Anthony Watmough - Manly / A few have said we have made a mammouth offer for him really cant see this one though he would be one of the best signings in super league.

Paul Johnson - Warrington

Martin Aspinwall - Huddersfield

Chris Thorman - Hull

Craig Wing - Souths

Thers is a lot of people saying Brough, Raynor, Radford, Bailey and Westwood.

The majority of those aren't internationals are even anywhere near international class.

Most would be okay signings apart frokm Bailey or Thorman. If we get Watmough + cash to buy Brough for Burgess that won't be too bad, but i'd still want first refusal.

Watmough was outstanding in both the WCC and the third SOO match, and he's a big rep future ahead of him including the Four Nations, so I can't imagine he'll be coming. Wing will go to RU I presume. Brough on his day is great, brilliant kicker, smart rugby brain, hard hitting tackler, but rarely stays anywhere long enough to prove his true worth - although I'd be happy to see him at the Bulls. Westwood and Johnson are journeymen and Thorman would be a step sideways. However if Bailey is coming I shan't be bothering with a season ticket.

Wouldn't it be easier and more cost effective to relocate the club to Manley rather than paying each individual Manley player to relocate to Bradford ?

Do you think they'd be willing to finance the relocation of a small sample of their fan base as well? Perhaps BSC can start a poll as to which posters should be eligible?

I'd say right now that Watmough is probably a better player than Burgess, but Sam probably has the potential to be a little better. But I'd certainly consider it a fair exchange in a swap deal. However like somebody else has said 2nd row probably isn't our weakest area at the moment.

Can't see why Watmough would give up Origin to come play for the Bulls though. So probably about a 5% chance of that happening.

Disagree entirely about Westwood. One of the best 80 minute forwards in the league. Would grace any team in SL. 2 teams in 10 years is hardly journeyman.

I dont really belive the Watmough rumour, but if there is anything there we may have asked for him in a straight swap for Burgess.

Manly would never swap watmough for burgess, they are not stupid. Also I think Watmough may struggle to get a visa think he has been naughty in the past, may be wrong though. If we were to sign him it would be unbelieveable one of the NRLs best players, it would never happen though.
