A true giant in every sense of the word. What a man he was! In his pomp he bestrode the game like a colossus, standing upright whilst four or five defenders tried (and usually failed) to either put him to ground or prevent him offloading. Best prop I've ever seen was Big Jeff, some have come close but Jeff was imperious. RL is a sadder place for his passing.
