The report in the paper reads:
" "The group have shown genuine interest in taking the club forward and, whilst we are cautiously optimistic regarding the outcome of these discussions, the consortium will be holding further discussions on Tuesday with the Rugby Football League.
"They will be seeking information on the situation regarding the ownership of Odsal Stadium and will be discussing the Bulls' status in the Super League competition going forward.""
Akbars (or anyone) looking to do a deal would very obviously need to:
1. establish exactly what their position was going to be in regards to a lease; very obviously nobody would ever do a deal with the administrator first, without having done a deal on the lease.
2. establish exactly where the Bulls will stand as regards Super League, wit the RFL.; very obviously nobody would ever do the deal first, and only afterwards find out whether they had bought a SL club, a Championship or Championship 1 club.
It is the first press release that makes 100% perfect sense to me.
I hope they get the assurances that they seek from the RFL.
