You're not alone - I'm re-calibrating what "being a Bulls fan" means at the moment. It's a work in progress. Just try and enjoy the games is my advice. I'm looking forward to seeing Race play.
Yeah I did the same after the Chalmers fiasco and found myself enjoying it more.
I think this has been an excellent season for us. This will be out highest finish for 6 years. In those 6 years we've seen lows of spending a year in the championship seeing kids get beaten up, and then battling it out in L1. Despite reservations about Wood, I think the culture of the playing squad is excellent. Its young but seems very mature. I'm not aware of any stories of covid breaches or off-field incidents etc.
We've a great chance of finishing the best of the rest which would be a great achievement. Yes we're a level behind Toulouse (who by the way are one of the best championship teams there's ever been, as well as them having an advantage of not playing many games so are playing relatively injury free every game) and Fev. But even Toulouse spent a couple of seasons consolidating in the championship before assembling the squad they have. People also forget that Fev played a game with less than 17 players a couple of years a go. But they recovered and had a superb play-off run 2 years a go which I think galvanised the club and propelled them to the position they're in now. I think a decent play-off run similar to Fevs will give the club a shot in the arm.
