Apologies, I believe I started the misspelling. He was the owner of reading until selling up. He certainly has experience of running a sports club at the highest level however at this stage we only have Mick's word on it being him.

Madejski is still the chairman of Reading so that would explain the need for Irvine. I'm struggling to get my head around why he's interested in owning Bradford though? He's 75 and it's not like he's at a loose end and the Bulls will never make him money? I'll wait for an announcement from a more reliable source on this one.

If Sod Hall were going down that road there would be no potential buyers, they got it badly wrong first time round, prospective buyers would accept a certain amount of points deductions but not a removal or reduction of central funding, its very much in the RFL's interest that the Bulls continue as a viable going concern, so there wont be any posturing from them this time round!

As I've said on another thread, I think the SL funding deduction was forced on the RFL by the SL chairmen first time around. They're not involved this time. And the RFL now have experience in what works & doesn't work with administration with the Bulls....

Just been looking up John Madjeski and is is worth and estimated 100m but 6 years before that he was worth 400m! Now that's a lot of money to lose in 6 years!!!

That starts to make sense. It would take him about 2 years to lose the 100m so we can pencil in our next Admin for the end of 2018. It's always nice to know so you don't clash with holidays or family weddings.

Madjeski was the key mover in getting Reading out of a dilapidated old ground and moved into a shiny new one, which was stage 1 of a major commercial development around the new ground, which he, I believe, had a major financial stake in. Lots of comments/questions why this administration has seemingly attracted a 'richer' class of people than the previous 2, and if Madjeski is involved, I would guess there have been some signals that redevelopment of the Odsal facility is on the table. If true could be a good story for the Bulls and the city as a whole in attracting investment and jobs.

Not sure how much truth there is in it, but I've been speaking to someone this morning well in with Park Avenue who is 100% sure that Chris Caisley's backer is Gareth Roberts.

Whilst the bloke I was talking to isn't an RL fan by any stretch, he is usually privy to a lot of the Avenue goings on, so I'm inclined to believe him.

Gareth Roberts could be keen on an alternative ground for BPA:
