Except with the ground deal to the RFL, we are no longer an attractive proposition for that.

Maybe it is just about ego with Parkin? (And I don't mean that to be negative - my football team has a terrible egomaniac as a Chairman, who has a list of unhappy customers as long as your arm and a poor business reputation. He is the best Chairman in the league by quite a difference - because he is only there to feed his ego and has no hidden agenda). If it is ego for Parkin (and his apparent desire to get involved somewhere suggest this as much as the development land) then maybe we have something to work with.

We're short of egos, aren't we?

I saw the stall but didn't know of any particular 'connections'. To be honest I just thought it was an extra tea stall because they were expecting a bigger gate,which I guess it was really. Interesting though..

Radio Leeds have mentioned the announcement on all their news broadcasts so I'm expecting they will follow it up, I hope so anyway as I'm tuned to it right now.
