A strong rumour is circulating that one of Dr Marwan Koukash’s brothers is set to make a bid to buy the Bradford Bulls. The Salford Red Devils owner is one of seven siblings and sees potential in our sport to make lots of money. Our source indicated his enthusiasm rubbed off on his sibling, who is preparing a bid that could drag the Odsal club from the mire.
Let’s hope it’s true – regardless of who you support, there’s no doubting Super League needs the Bradford Bulls.

Perhaps the good doctor is interested in doing a "Hetherington" to expand his voting rights at SL and RFL

You know what I was thinking the same thing, if all 7 of em get involved we could have the KFL (Koucash Football League), only problem i can see is that if we become a feeder for Salford as Marwan may have more power behind him, If its works all round and we can get someone who isnt afraid to speak his mind like the Dr then im all for it.

As a Wigan fan, I hope the rumours of Koukash’s brother, or any other genuine investor comes along quickly and sorts out the issues you guys are having.

The sport needs all the strength it can get, and to loose a team of the Bulls standing would not be good for the game. Hope the days of you being the force you once were are soon to return and we can enjoy many close battles with Bradford again.

Think any genuine fan of the sport would want you to be saved, in the right way. Will be good to draw a line under all of this for everyone, especially the fans of the Bulls.

If this is sorted soon I would certainly put a lot of money on you staying up, and as long as finances are in order going from strength to strength. What a way to stick 2 fingers up to the narrow minded fans of small clubs that are sticking the boot in.

Wigan are a rich club, if Lenaghan walks away though it wouldn't be long until we were in a similar situation to you guys.

I think every team is like that, either just surviving or has a backer, but if they walk they are going to be in all kinds of trouble.

Think there are maybe 4 teams who could survive without a backer (Wigan, Leeds, Saints and Warrington) the rest would struggle.

Just had an interesting chat with Dr Koukash. Wouldn't comment directly on any family involvement/offers for Bulls but spoke v well of club

Sir go and apply for the marketing managers job a bradford ASAP

Liking the Dr more and more, begs the question why did he choose Salford? was it just due to the timing of him looking at the sport was the time Salford where heading towards the mire?
