Mate. It's an administration. Ten years ago this would have seemed like a surprise last minute bid if it went through and then we all found out about it.

There's nothing silly about it, bar the detail. Detail is always silly for those to whom that detail does not apply.

That's what I mean , I thought the admin had finished , been abandoned , whatever , but that seems not the case

If the RFL have a preffered option ( I hope so ) then surely a case of hold fast till Monday ( when I assume the admin is ' officially ' over ) then sign them up

If that's not the case then the time left is leaving things too late IMO

Might just be me, but I'm nervous about this.

It looks increasingly like an attempt by Pettit and Green (and Richardson) to back the RFL into a corner. Contracts have apparently been signed, promises have been made - bit it doesn't seem to me that anyone is a position to do so - as the operation doesn't yet have the necessary RFL license to play in the competition. The whole things looks, well, frankly, a bit dodgy...

I can't see the RFL simply rolling over and accepting this, and fear it could all end very badly.

At the risk of more abuse it was told yesterday the administrator was at the meeting with the players and staff in which he has sold assets like the Bradford Bulls logo and web domain to Richardson Thorne in the hope of challenging the RFL for the license that they have bought the rights. This really is Green's last roll of the dice. Green is confident of pulling this off hence why everyone met the players yesterday.

As much as I thank you for sharing your insider knowledge, now that your son has signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement you would be very wise to not post too much detail and I would totally understand you choosing not to do so.

With regards to the info that has been divulged...

1. The statement from the RFL yesterday outlined the criteria for entering a NEW Bradford club, it doesn't mean those criteria would apply to re-admittance of the EXISTING club...

2. The RFL openly stated their view that we need Bradford in RL, they are desperate for there to be a Bradford club ready to start the season. However underhanded you feel this attempt may be, it sounds like Richardson & co have fashioned a situation where we have a club ready to go - the kits that have already been produced can be used, players have signed, everything is in place - with the season kick off so close, the RFL would be equally stupid to turn this down just to "save face" considering they have played a part in this whole farce anyway.
And also, allowing the existing Bulls to continue, rather than a phoenix Bulls, removes the "fairness" argument about their decision to keep Bradford in the Championship.

The rollercoaster rumbles on!

MMmm, maybe, but depends how they spin it.

According to Comapnies House it's still an admin. And I know that data is basically "live" and the latest they have. They'll sell you automated access to it through the same interface on that basis.

If it's eight weeks exactly then there are still four full days before the papers have to be submitted.

Not exactly going behind their back when the public domain has being brought and a compaby lodged at companies house.

Watch the RFL up our penalty to -18 now. As a favour obviously.

2015 - major missed opportunity, 2016 - stronger teams = harder task (no problem there then), 2017 - OMG What now!!!

Re: Players meeting with new owner today : Fri Jan 06, 2017 9:36 am
At least he can sell the domain to the eventual new owners. My view on this conversion of debt to shares is one of incredulity. Firstly the HMRC wil not want shares in a RL club and secondly they are basically worthless anyway and are just postponing any possible return of the debt to the next admin. If this is all driven by Greens desperation you can bet there will be a catch, to me I think he has conned once too often to be credible in any way shape or form. I sincerely hope that the RFL do not cave into this attempt to force their hand. In simple terms they can continue with this process of trying to get a new pro club formed in Bradford and just deny a licence to this (in my opinion) dodgy attempt by the Wasps owner. RU are already trying to pee all over our game with the Solomona issue, do we really want the RU getting inside knowledge of the RFL and RL in general. Something really doesn't sit right, and until a full explanation is published and all these so called NDAs get kicked into touch, I would be very cautious of getting any hopes up.

Bull Mania if the RFL have no knowledge of Petit continuing to try and sell it after announcing he was liquidating the club, then it is behind the RFLs back.

So we had a position where two bids were accepted by the rfl but were rejected by the administrator. Now we have a bid accepted by the administrator but not the rfl. The difference seems to be how much Green gets out of the deal, and that given Bulls could be sold as a going concern it would be the rfl that puts us into liquidation. My brain hurts.
