I agree it's potentially worrying. But, we don't know what discussions have gone on between which parties. There is too much guesswork going on. For all we know the rfl are in the loop with the Richardson bid. The list of items the rfl need satisfying by Monday by any potential owner included a detailed plan of staffing and playing squad capability to start the 2017 season, a meeting with the ex current squad is the best starting point for that, without such a meeting how could any other party hope to convince the rfl they could field a team in 3 weeks time?
OK, First things first the Administrators did NOT inform the RFL that this meeting was even taking place. Therefore, it was set up to ambush the RFL and put them in a position where the NEWCO Bulls are ready to go, all they need now is the membership and the Administrators are currently discussing this with the RFL.
The creditors will get stuffed on this deal as in true Marc Green style the debts of Bradford Bulls Northern Ltd are being dumped and this company will indeed be liquidated. The 'new' Bradford Bulls Capital Ltd will emerge. I for one cannot see how this can be classed as a new company / club in any way, shape or form. They will have the same logo, players, admin staff, coaching staff, buildings, etc so how the hell is it a new company with no debt.
Anyone with a true love of our sport should be against this happening and petition the RFL to not give the membership to this barsteward offspring of Marc Green. I will refuse to go and watch them when they play against my team as I don't want to be any part of a sport that sells its morality and integrity, especially to someone from RU who will use this to access ALL of our best young talent.
A totally lame duck club would be back in admin in no time as even if the owners satisfied all the RFL criteria the supporters wouldn't be on board to watch a side get stuffed every week until relegation. Any goodwill has long since dried up and to expect fans to buy into a charade is naive.
However if the remaining 20 players in the squad were kept on there's a chance of survival, and supporters could very much buy into a backs to the wall type spin.
So we had a position where two bids were accepted by the rfl but were rejected by the administrator. Now we have a bid accepted by the administrator but not the rfl. The difference seems to be how much Green gets out of the deal, and that given Bulls could be sold as a going concern it would be the rfl that puts us into liquidation. My brain hurts.
What if Richardson's plan was one of the 2 accepted by the RFL? Not beyond the wit of man that he would have been renegotiating with the administrator.
I hope that's the case as it seems the best scenario for a quick response that doesn't put the RFL's nose out!

Totally agree for my sins im a Leeds United fan. The season we were relegated and started on -15 points was one of my favorite seasons as a supporter. I can hear the song we sang being changed from 15 points who gives a f##k we're super Leeds and we're going up! to 12 points who gives a chuff (because we are a family sport) we're Bradford Bulls and we're staying up! haha I can dream anyway...........

I get your point, but not entirely sure how you would expect another Newco to start up in 3 weeks without having the same buildings, staff (playing), badge on kit etc? Surely ANY new owner is going to need that? They have no choice on using the ground, we already know that.

My understanding of this was that they would be saving the existing club from liquidation - not claiming it to be a new club as you seem to be suggesting. Even in previous admins, a new holding company has been incorporated to take over the existing club, so I don't see how the creation of Bradford Bulls Capital Ltd is in anyway different to the 2 previous admins.
If the creditors aren't being satisfied then the RFL will issue the full 12 point penalty as is in the rules. People do need to stop referring to yesterdays criteria announcement though - that is for setting up a brand new rugby club, not continuing with the existing one as is the case here!
And since they would need to also negotiate the rent of Odsal, not just the membership, they would have known full well that the RFL need to be heavily involved so suggesting they are trying to pull the wool over the RFL's eyes is ludicrous to me.
