I'd be surprised it was Sculthorpe since the company that he signed for was under Hood and we've had two other owners since then. Debts don't tend to survive more than one period of admin.

12 point deduction not a problem as regards staying up IMO, and that 's even if we lost a couple of players. The key is we keep our coaching staff and not lose too many players if admin is drawn out.

That said I'm fairly optimistic we'll get through this even if it's nearer 12 points. I can get behind the side in an "us against them" way. That'd be a seller. So long as the new owner was paying bills on time and there were no off field distractions.

Accoridng to Gareth Walker on twitter.

He's spoken to administrator. Down to 2 final bidders and hope to complete deal by next week.

Could be. Didn't we release him after he got injured in an off field incident? Or didn't take up option for a 2nd yr. not sure he'd win a tribunal but could put a claim in on assumption he'd win tribunal. Mathews is other good call. Don't think anything was ever said as to why he left

I'd say it's between Irvine/madejski (who were getting plenty of press before deadline) and whoever the late bidder is. Wonder if late bidder is New Zealand one with links to players. Would explain administrator having a conference call with them as opposed to a meeting. Is graham lowe New Zealand based?
