Its not pseudo-psychoanalysis, I think you will find 'asshat' is the correct technical term: Defined by the psychological bible 'The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders' or DSM, as those with delusions of relevance and wisdom but so foolish as to be unable to distinguish between an ass and hat, and as such end up with their heads so far up their own 'ass' they are wearing it as a 'hat' Ergo 'Asshat'.
