To be right, the council, as landowner, can add in, or pull out, as much as it wants to get the best price - as I'd assume that would be fairly high on the agenda. They could, for instance, pull out sufficient ground to make a decent rugby ground and thereby keep their promise about keeping it for sport - and still sell off a lot more ground for whatever gets the best deal. I guess with the government hammering the local authorities they will have various uses for whatever they can get their hands on.

With Richard Dunn's closing it really is the right time for a "development" if Roberts came out on top a shared stadium at Odsal for BPA and the Bulls,
With bars, restaurants, retail, hotels, leisure would be just the ticket.

Big Nige and his pals could build themselves some new offices too if they wanted.

This would be perfect, i would suggest they change the pitch to be the other way round and that would leave lots of road frontage for shop etc.

I think if we could get Gregg's to put in a unit it would definitely get the Nige onboard.

Looking around Bradford, it seems that preventing Greggs from sticking units into everything is the real problem....

Apart from that one that was next to Wilkos.

I've never seen them shut down a Greggs before

I tried counting the amount of Greggs within a mile from the city centre once and I nearly hit double figures. Perhaps making them less frequent would encourage the exercise to earn that steak bake.

Owning the ground on all three sites can only be a winner for the Council.Sell off Odsal for 'sharing' and development and then sell off Horsfall and RD Centre for other redev.
