One player who surely does need a rest is Deacon, he is adding very little to the side right now. His passing is poor, his general play kicking has been poor even his goal kicking has been inconsistent. But far more worryingly is the ease in which the opposition are running through him. His missed tackles have led directly to 4 tries that I can think of in the last two games. I'd promote Halley to the starting line up too to face Leeds.

i agree with what your saying about deacon he does need a rest his defence recently has been tragic, but who ould you replace him with cant really think of anyone, would you promote a youngster? personally i would like to see a number of youngsters promoted, they cannot do any worse than the current rabble.

As I mentioned earlier, I'd move Menzies to 6 and put Jeffries at 7. However I stated that we'd probably need Solomona back if we were to switch a player from the back row.

No but you can dent their confiedence to such a level that they never get over it.

I think we should consider giving a bench spot to one of the younger guys this week though. What is the logic of picking a winger on the bench?

yes but if they arent playing well enough then they dont deserve to be in the team, get them dropped. you cant just refuse to drop someone because it might hurt their feelings. it might give them the kick up the booty they need to get back into it.

It would be OK if one of the wingers could play centre then you could give Nero a spell in the backrow.

I'm on about youngster's. Look how long it's taken Brown, Aspinwall, Robinson and Wild to get over being thrown in at the deep end during their time in a struggling Wigan side.
