Having said that, I've never had any hope of anything but a pretty crap outcome this time round, we have tried and failed to find an owner with stickability and cash and so I was and am extremely pessimistic that we will on this occasion. I'd kind of assumed the outcome would be a cheap sale to a second-rate buyer and a slow death thereafter. I think a fast bullet to the head would be kinder, if there's really no-one.

Considering the players have stopped training, its looking like there is only one option now.

Green is definitely out as ny all accounts he jas rightly been told he wont pass the fit&proper persons test.

Now they are basically saying we need a new buyer no matter how poor your bid and vision is. I don't think for one minute you will go under however I can't see new owner being of the standing you would have hoped.

You were specifically referring to the £3/4m loan, and asked why it should be "written off". How can the RFL "write off" something they are not owed?

First, you were talking about the 750k not the 500k

Secondly, the 500k was obviously not simply "handed over". You seem to have trouble with simple concepts so let me try to make it simpler: if you go into a shop and buy some sweets, for £1, you ain't handing the shop £1. You're "exchanging" it for sweets. You get the sweets, they get the pound. Now, they have the pound, but they no longer have the sweets.

Under no circumstances is that £1 ever again any concern of yours.

I'll keep this short FA, as you appear to have more serious problems to contend with now. If the RFL give the lease away for next to nothing they have lost out on what was worth 750k in the original 1.25M deal. People were complaining abut the RFL not playing ball over the lease. Anyway, saying no more and hope you can avoid liquidation.

No, the lease was worth 1.25m. If they give it away they will have lost out 1.25m. But my comments never mentioned giving away the lease and if they did, what has that to do with the orignal 750K loan that was paid off?

Who was? And how do they know? Not a point I ever made, anyway. If anyone wants the lease then they'd need to pay a commercial price even if RFL wanted to sell it which clearly they don't.
