I was thinking where we could build a new multi-purpose stadium to replace Odsal and it suddenly occured to me that we could site it right in the middle of town and forget about the shopping centre and such like...In fact, why not demolish the entire area and use City Hall as a luxury pre-match bar!

Mixed messages from the council?

Richard Dunn nominated as olympic base.

It's not going to exist then, is it?

The phrase politically correct is in itself politcally incorrect so should be rephrased politically stupid!

If you like old type radio comedy/ dramas etc listen to //pumpkinfm.com/

Statistically speaking you have a better chance of getting dead the older you get!

Best get out for the OSV for the Council yet! But the Olympic committee's do have a track record on supporting "white elephants" :(

Sorry to hear that, i just suggested that as its been successful in other areas.

I think the concensus is that something actually needs to happen, staying at Odsal in its present state is not an option.

I think we could possibly persuade Asda that relocating Tesco to Odsal would be of benefit to the local community, it wouldn't change that much as its just the movement of a store. But Morrisons wouldn't go for it either way.

Sainsbury's? Altho' they have stores in Brighouse and Halifax, as well as the one in Greengates. So little chance of them helping out. So basically, there would appear to be very little chance of a joint venture with a supermarket.

Doesn`t Sir Ken retire today (13/3) ? I`m sure, some time back, when asked what he intended doing in his forthcoming retirement, he mentioned something about spending more time watching his favourite team, a certain Bradford Bulls.

Well maybe it won`t happen but it would be nice wouldn`t it!!

Wasn't something supposed to be announced in Feb / Mar?

It's all gone worryingly quiet....!

I was wondering the same thing about March, thought something was going to be announced. Then again it makes me wonder if were getting tempted to pull the plug on the whole thing and team up with the stans. Which given the speed of the OSV progression, wouldn't be a bad thing.
