The video of the players training today has made me feel a lot better about things. Sad to lose the likes of Chisholm but it shows to me that the new owners are, right from the off, trying to ensure the club lives within its means.

There are a lot of good players still in the squad in that video. Assuming they must be the ones to have agreed deals. Some of the good younger players that emerged last year too.

It looks like with the departure announcements today and the press conference tomorrow maybe today could be our last really bad news day for a while at least? I hope so anyway.

I couldn't see Leon in the video. I wonder if he has been helping new owners and new coach? I guess without Rohan and Chev he might be one of the people best placed to comment on squad weaknesses etc.

For the first time in what feels like forever I'm actually looking forward to tomorrow from a Bulls perspective.

Late afternoon would make sence, just to get paper work done for signing etc. Wouldn't surprise me if it was 6ish to be honest.

Think Burr takes us up to 29 players which is not a huge squad by any stretch.

Certainly far smaller than yourselves last season.

With no reserves set up to fall back on until next season and some kids in there like Foster and Thompson I would say 29 is a sensible number of players going into a tough SL season.

For comparison Saints announced their squad numbers today and had 35 players in total.

The Debate surrounding the Odsal stadium is not going to disappear until its sold. The only people seemingly wanting it is the RFL. This issue has been debated to death, the supporters know it is not fit for purpose and clearly sucks the life out of the club. How can so called businessmen/Women at the RFL be so sentimental and unable to concede to Facts that are obvious to everyone else.

Not meaning to play devils advocate as there are some well informed members on this board. However If a company goes bust and your made redundant. That is it. It is up to person who's made redundant to find alternative employment. Why do some players believe that a new employer of the same trade or the RFL gratuitously hand them jobs back. I think it should be mentioned (Considering what £ some were picking up) that these professed professionals were failures on several occasions.

Anyone who wishes to play for the New club, really has to understand that the finances are tight and right now prudence has to be a priority. I think a lot of sports people tend to live in deluded world.

Hammer Mark Green if you wish but there are a lot of others who brought the club to this point. The new owners have a tough job and they are doing it.
