At the moment the T&A is just writing up rumours that are on twitter.

I've known mick a lot of years and although what he says gets people's backs up (admittedly brings it on himself at times sorry mick) he genuinely loves the bulls. He started his commentating career bringing the bulls to partially deaf hospital patients all at cost to himself. Like I say he is red amber and black through and through. But like I say again can understand people's frustrations too

I have said this numerous times. He needs to stick to commentary. He is excellent at it, and I will never hear a bad word said about his BCB commentary skills, they are superb.
The problem with him is this "In The Know" stuff that makes him look a total tit. Constantly tweeting rumours and total b0llocks without any real foundation. At normal times, it's kind of harmless. He posts a bull$hit rumour and it turns out to be nothing. The Mathers thing in fairness, was fairly harmless really, it was just people expecting a good player and getting a crap one. But when situations like this are ongoing where people are genuinely fearful that the club they love is about to go under, his $hite is damaging and upsets people. But because he loves the attention so much, and he gets it because there are loads of people that believe it, he carries on.

He REALLY needs to stick to commentary. That way he would be loved. While he continues with this stuff he does on Twitter, he'll always be ridiculed, and without wishing any personal ill will on the lad, who I am sure is a great guy, it's kind of deserved.

I have no doubt his heart is in the right place. But whether it's down to naivety or ego, if he wants to be taken seriously, he needs to reel himself in.

Mick was not the only one who mentioned liquidation. It came from two other "trusted journalists" as well. Why does Mick get all the stick?

One of those other journalists was well respected BBC Radio Leeds' presenter, James Deighton.
With that, I'm leaning towards liquidation being a real possibility...

One thing you learn pretty quickly when you support a club who have been flirting with the financial abyss on more than 1 occasion in the past...
NEVER ever believe anything that comes out from the club...

TBH I have not believed anything that has come out of the club for some time now. When you have the likes of Duffy at the club for so long you tend to be a bit cynical about anything they say.

The only thing i can think is the administrators are trying to put pressure on (something/someone) and that's why they told the players about liquidation yesterday.

It doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to work out if there's no buyer it's liquidation; night following day etc. Does that make me a respected journalist?

Just to lighten the gloom in these bleak times. The strap line under a photo of Karl Pryce in this mornings Dewsbury and Mirfield Reporter is:-

"Karl Pryce, Assistant Coach at the Rams is to assess the Mental & Physical Toughness of the Squad"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the case of the liquidation, you are absolutely correct. I wasn't specifically talking about that though, I was referring to all the other guff. I believe for example he was the first to mention the administrator being on holiday. I'm assuming if that's correct, he must have put out that statement yesterday from a beach in Magaluf.
