T&A is saying that Omar didn't even submit a bid (thankfully), so he's out of the race
BCFC didn't bid but put in a 'proposal'. whatever that means. I assume it means something like 'we'll buy the club if there is no one else'. Well, we know there are others, so I think we can assume they are effectively out of the race.
The one that the 'dark horse' IMO is Marc Green. It's been stated that he intends to put in a bid, but he's not listed in the T&A as one of the bidders. But it does say that 'also believed to be in the running to take control'. Whether that is sloppy reporting or whether he actually HAS bid is anyone's guess. The suspicion with him is that he just wants his debenture money back, and has no interest whatsoever in the ongoing business.
So it looks like we are left with Lamb as the only other serious option to Mandy Koukash. And if the rumour mill is right, and Lamb is a 'front' for Hood, then I'm sure we are all hoping he isn't successful.
Hopefully it will all work out for Koukash, but things are never straightforward for us are they?
