Unlike the Salford situation, the Bulls are still faced with relegation this year.

'IF' Mrs K does take over, I can't help feeling that it's still an uphill struggle to avoid relegation. We currently have a poor squad and the top players elsewhere are signed up. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Either way, I'm starting to feel like some of my Bull Power is returning

Well, at the very least, it should mean no-one else leaving - I think that might be a bonus, as things are.

To be honest, still having a game to watch in a couple of weeks time is almost like a bonus, all in itself.

Thing is we dont necessarily need to sign TOP players. Our core squad is pretty decent. Its backup and primarily props which are the issue. We also have advantage of having quota spots available. A relatively small outlay in transfer fees and a couple of reserve grade / Fringe Nrl Props would rapidly make us much more competitive. Add to that if a new owner paid off the creditors and got some/all points deduction overturned and its suddenly a very different kettle of fish.

We were too light before Carvell left and Scruton has gone as well since then. We need some genuine quality up front if we can find it but after that it's depth.

I have allowed myself to be optimistic after seeing the doctor & his wife very publicly state that they WANT the club.
It seems clear that they have the money to be the highest bidder, if they wish, so can achieve that Want.

Should their bid not be high enough they would LOOSE equally as publicly.

Marwan is not a looser but more importantly would not want to be seen as one.

Personally I wouldn't go down the NRL no-mark route, I'd stick with loans and maybe a Championship player.

But that's me, I don't like how relegation threat means panic buying and reaching for the long haul flight option.
