League Express reporting that the current favoured bidder is former NZRL Chairman Andrew Chalmers, who is currently a director at Salford.

That would explain why the good Doctor was in MacDonalds on Rooley on Saturday with two blokes all suited and booted. Didn't know if it was because his Mrs was in talks with anyone at the club. Looks like one of the other guys might have been this chalmers bloke.

Chalmers & Lowe were Directors of Salford when Marwan took over. They havent been seen at games for 3 years and I am surprised to hear that AC was still a Director.

It suggest in league weekly that Chalmers doesn't want the ground and also say if he takes over the player will he told they are free to look elsewhere for other clubs if they wish to do so.
