Can't help but think that it's going to end badly but this might just be my "glass half full" way of looking at it.

I'm not really convinced by Lamb and would be surprised if he really has put in an offer as he doesn't appear to have any money. If Hood is behind him him he doesn't have any money either and is tainted by past mismanagement.

The BPA bid may have well meaning people behind it but I am doubtful whether they have the money either.

If the club is going to be run with a view to playing championship RL next year it'll take a heck of a sell to get fans to bother turning up to anymore games this season. As for the players I can see them nearly all wanting away if new owners came in with the ambition to take us down a division. How the new owners could make ends meet in that situation is beyond me.

As I said it's Koukash or bust.

I know people are commenting on the RFL making a decision but from what i was aware isnt the decision down to the administrator and whats best for the creditors not whats best for the RFL ???

We are clear that the bid deadline was Thursday evening. We were told that the RL (Solly?) would be working with the administrator "over the weekend" . It seems only one bidder was present at Sundays match -- alongside the administrator.
We are told in the Rugby League Express that the administrator would meet the RFL today to discuss the 5 bids. They understand he will REVEAL the preferred bid " in order to ensure they will be acceptable to the ruling body". They also"understand" that bidders have had to confirm they have 500,000 to invest IMMEDIATELY into the club.
Davey -- my patience is also being tested.
We know at least 2 bidders have passed the fit and proper person test. If the other 3 bidders have not been checked by the RFL that is dilatory-- so I assume they have passed.
The bidders must have known the £500,000 condition.
There is no rule preventing spouses owning ( or part owning ) different clubs. If the RFL are seeking to invoke a conflict of interest reason they should have told both the prospective bidder AND Wilson.
So why do they need 3 more days to announce the result? That is unfair to the fans the general public but most of all the players and staff.
All they are doing besides prolonging the agony , is encouraging conspiracy theories

PS Roger,'s wife may well be right . However Dr K does not seem the type to either keep quiet OR meekly give way .

Think koukash is only one with intention of investing serious money. Lamb seems set on rebuilding in lower league. Problem is I think that is RFLs prefered option for us. It makes it a lot likelier that Catalans will stay up and also makes be seen to have been 'punished' for admin. Think delay is to give them time to find a way to turn koukash down whilst accepting an inferior financial bid. Hope I'm wrong but I just don't trust RFL after last few months.

I can't bring myself to believe the conspiracy theories about a malicious rfl. I get that they are cackhanded but starting to believe they are trying to deliberately harm us or appoint a stooge really is too uncomfortable to consider.
